We get to meet this little girl in 4 weeks or less. Who knows?

December fun!

Usually for Christmas Mark and I take turns going to each other's family's house for Christmas. This year was my family's turn. But Since in October our house burnt down my mom and dad thought it would be a great idea to get the whole family out to Virginia to spend it with us. Plus I'm too far along pregnant to fly anyways. So they decided to surprise all the kids and not tell them where they were going. They flew into Dulles Washington DC. Some of the little kids thought they were in Washington State. How funny is that. But we had a great Christmas traveling around. We did NYC, Palmyra, DC, Christmas in Richmond all in one week. It was so fun to spend time with my family. I dont get to see them much since we live in Virginia and they with in California. We had some great adventures. I am grateful to rest now. Here are some pictures from our adventure.

We found Vanessa and her family lurking/ice skating around the National Archives

On Saturday we played soccer with some friends. It was surprisingly fun. Ashley, being so pregnant and getting more uncomfortable each day, watched and cheered from the sidelines. I even scored a goal. I usually don't enjoy team sports because I consistantly let down my teammates, but they didn't mind this time. Afterward we had some hot chocolate and the went to University of Richmond where Ash took some portraits of a family in our ward.

Blog city, population us.

We were in Bath County, Va at the Homestead resort. After sneaking into the lobby, we settled down for a battle of wits in the form of a chess match. Check and mate!
