It is no secret that November and December are busy months. I bet that anyone reading this would probably prefer a concise summary of our Thanksgiving so I will skip all the boring parts and go straight to the highlights:
1) The parade. Got there at 6 AM, beat the crowds, made posters, awesome.

2) Thanksgiving dinner! At a friend of a friend's apartment, awesome meal while we made new NYC friends. Yo, Scott and Peter.
3) Wicked. A true thanksgiving miracle, we won the ticket lottery at the theater so it made it even more special. Now we know why college girls everywhere (and me too) love it.

4) Saw my ol' BYU buddy Mike Barnes in front of the Plaza Hotel. Wild. Another Thanksgiving miracle. For other long lost frineds who I don't randomly meet in Manhattan, there's always Facebook.

5) OMG you will not believe this coincidence: accidently walked right past PEOPLE'S REVOLUTION on Grand St. in Soho! Sound familiar? Oh, it's only the company owned by Kelly Cutrone (in LA) where Lauren Conrad and Whitney work on the MTV #1 soft-reality show THE HILLS!!!! Yes, the very location that LC and Whit flew to on business in episode #58.

6) just kidding about #5. Ashley made me put that in.
7) In summary, we had a great time with the Manns, Harts, and Nielsens.
Here some other random pics from the trip:

Juilliard...heard of it?

Sadie goes against NY pigeons for food. Of course we intervened on her behalf.

If you know us, then you know that the real reason we go to NYC (or anywhere) is the possibility of Celeb sightings:
a) Miley Cyrus, who distinctly said "awwwww, cute" when she saw Sadie and her friends.
b) Barry Manilow, who's feathered hair and distinct profile we caught at The Today Show.
c) James Taylor, who looked over when we yelled "Sweet baby James"
d) Miss USA. 'nuff said
e) Disney sensation Melissa Cosgrove from iCarly or School of Rock
f) Does anyone know this rising young hip-pop star?
g) David Archuletta, sweetheart of murray, UT.
h) Trace Adkins, country's original Bad Boy
i and j) Elpheba and Galinda from the original Wicked cast. This was more meaningful after we saw the show...
And there were other random celebrities that we saw and didn't know or care about. But seriously it was so amazing to be in their presence. The stars are just like us, but awesome. We love you, Celebrities!
....What? ....huh? Who wrote that? Did I say that out loud?
