The work and the story...

Hey guys. This is Mark again. For those who don't know, here's the whole story:

A couple of weeks ago we went to the BYU soccer game at W&M in Williamsburg, Va, and, much to Ashley's embarrassment, Tyler and I started yelling at the players. Mostly positive encouragement, but some constructive criticism. Anyway, I had the awesome idea to embed culturally-relevant phrases in our cheers for the lady cougs, and came up with some ridiculous things to shout at your next BYU game:

Lengthen your strides, cougars. (Didn't Pres. Kimball or someone say that?)
Remember who you are guarding. (quote from YW leaders or moms or something)
Keep your defense tight like unto a dish. (Ether 2:17; kind of a stretch, but it works)
Choose the right pass (self-explanatory)
etc.

Anyway, I thought about those all week, and Mike and Rich came up with "endure to the endzone" (2 Ne 31:20;) and "my soul did Unga" (Enos 1:4, kind of). Dynamite!

Is it just me, or are these way too funny? Wouldn't the cougars love them? Couldn't they be the next catch phrases in Provo? (you have to know provo, I guess) Well, I was easily convinced that it was hilarious, so I did what any rational business man would do: I printed 40 t-shirts to try and sell at the game... In my version of the story, Ashley and I made the decision together, and I placed the order only after talking with her about it. Her version is a little different. Oh, PS- she wants everyone to know that she has absolutely nothing to do with this post or these stupid t-shirts.
Anyway, we had the grand launch of our line of products yesterday, and I still can't say for sure how many shirts I managed to sell. I think my salesman was too embarrassed to contact me and report his results...
But I am optimistic about a few things: when BYU wins, it's good for business. and, I have a better salesman lined up next week to push my product on unsuspecting freshmen and alumnuses.

Thanks for listening. Anyway, here is the blog for our young business, Endure to the Endzone. (If you want to succeed at anything in Utah you must have a blog these days). Check it out, or link it from your blog (if you're not too embarrased), or tell any gullible freshman friends of yours about it. I have a feeling that this is the next NuSkin. haha.

So when you say Rich...do you mean my husband?? And if yes, then does that mean we get any sort of royalties?
