Our next great adventure

We just found out some important and incredible news. We were very excited to learn that the Air Force will be be shipping us out to Germany! The AEGD program here ends in July, so we had been anxious to learn where we'd be headed next. We were hoping we would get something Europe-ish, and Germany was our top pick, so this is pretty exciting for our family. We will be near the border of France, Luxembourg and Belgium, Mark's uncle and his family live 2 hours away, Paris-4 hours away, Mark's sister and her husband will be in Hungary all of Fall. We are just so excited to get our travel on! If you were planning on visiting Europe you better do it in the next 3 years because you have a free place to stay at the Olsen home! We are definitely going to miss the good US of A but are super stoked for a big adventure before we settle down. Oh, Mark lived in Germany when he was 3. Sadie and London will also live in Germany when they are 3. I thought that was kind of neat.

Hmmm. Better start looking for plane tickets to Germany at the end of November. Can we do Thanksgiving at Neuschwanstein Castle (I just looked that up)? I am so extremely excited for the Olsen Family. You have so many fabulous adventures ahead of you guys! Congratulations.

Viel Glück! I am jealous. German food is awesome. My brother lives in Sweden so maybe when I visit next year we'll have to travel south.

AAHHH! I'm only completely stunned and don't know what to say is all. Seriously?? Wow! Ok, it's going to be awesome! And I'm totally jealous! Does the AF pay for you to visit home? If not, we probably won't be seeing you guys for a long time, huh? Oh, man, Matt's gonna be flamboozled!

Well, Julia was right, I am flamboooooozled!! That is so awesome for you guys. I always remembered Mark having a thing for Germany, but I didn't remember he lived there, which would explain "the thing for Germany" I reckon. We already miss you guys, but now this is kinda official that we won't see you for a while. Be sure to write my name on that wall in Berl...what? What do you mean the wall is gone? Seriously!?! Well, any wall will do I guess.
