Mark's little sister Kelli who is a senior in high school came out to DC on a choir trip with her school. So we took the 2 hour trek to spend the day with her. She got to be the first aunt and first Olsen to meet Sadie. She felt truly honored. And let me tell you, what a champ our little Sadie was. She basically slept the entire day, which made me nervous about how we would spend our night, which wasn't to bad. We hesitated about going at all. For starters it was a pretty cold day and I am no pro at feeding her let alone outside the home. But she did great. We just bundled her up like crazy and fed her in the car. She was a huge hit and got a lot of attention. We spent some time at the Holocaust museum, ate dinner and then headed over to the temple to watch Kelli sing. We ended up getting home around 1 am. It was great to see Kelli. We get to see her again next week along with my whole family and most of Mark's. We are blessing Sadie in CA and she finally gets to meet all her aunts, uncles, cousins and Olsen grandparents. This trip up to DC was just a test to get us ready for the all day plane ride with Sadie. Can't wait!!
